1. Go to http://www.bob-taylor.net
2. Click Log-in
3. Type in your username and password
4. In the left column, click on Posts to open the drop-down menu, then click Add New
5. Give your post a title, type in your text.
Note: Content that is copied and pasted from Word can sometimes behave in unexpected ways; such as a wrong font size or style or incorrect spacing. You might find composing directly in the WordPress editor is actually easier than composing in Word. But feel free to do what works for you.
6. Assign a category.
Categories are useful to create pages of specific information. If you find you want a category other than the ones already in the list, let me know, and I will add it at the admin level.
7. The insert media icons can be used to inset photos, embed videos, embed music files, or add links to documents, such as a PDF file.
8. To compose in “rich text” mode (just like using a word processor) be sure you are in the Visual tab. If you want to work in HTML code, click on the HTML tab. You can alternate between the two tabs if you want.
9. When finished, click Publish
